   April 22          

• Arrive  in Freetown

• We welcome you to a reception where you will meet fellow travelers from the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Caribbean.​

   April 23         

• Tour Freetown's historic sites, including the National Museum, the Peace Museum, and the location of the Cotton Tree.

• Enjoy a splendid BBQ at the Mamba Point Lagoonda. 

• Lagoonda Casino (an Optional Activity)

   April 24        

• On this solemn day, we will tour the Bunce Island ruins and visit Tasso Island, where you will participate in an African Naming Ceremony (wear white).            

• Tour participants will present a Legacy Gift​ to the Tasso Island leaders and community.

   April 25          

• Visit the Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary

• Take a panoramic view of the city from Leicester Peak, rising 564 metres (1850 feet) above the banks of the estuary.

• End the day with dinner at Mango Peak, a local gem.​

   April 26          

• Another highlight of this trip is a Cultural and Business Exchange at Fourah Bay College, where you can explore potential business, educational, and other opportunities with Sierra Leoneans.

• Shop at the Big Market

• Evening on Lumley Beach, with street performers, beach clubs, and bars. 

   April 27          

• Participate in the Sierra Leone Independence Day Celebration

• Tour Bo and Kenema Provinces

  • Moeba Waterfall

  • Ngiehun Village 

  • Kenema Cultural Center

  • Jamaica Village

   Apr 29          

• We will return to Freetown, where the day will be spent relaxing on Tokeh Beach.  Water sports are available.

• Enjoy a meal on the Beach.

   Apr 30          

• Our last excursion will be to Banana Island for a colonial history tour.  Enjoy a seafood lunch at Dalton's Banana Guesthouse.

• Water Sports are available.

• Our tour will end with a celebratory Bonfire and Reflections at Mozza Beach.
