On this solemn day, we will tour the Bunce Island ruins and visit Tasso Island, where you will participate in an African Naming Ceremony (wear white).

Tour participants will present a Legacy Gift​ to the Tasso Island leaders and community.

Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary
April 25

Visit the Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary

Take a panoramic view of the city from Leicester Peak, rising 564 metres (1850 feet) above the banks of the estuary.

End the day with dinner at Mango Peak, a local gem.​

Another highlight of this trip is a Cultural and Business Exchange at Fourah Bay College, where you can explore potential business, educational, and other opportunities with Sierra Leoneans.

Banana Island Water Sports and Activities

Our last excursion will be to Banana Island for a colonial history tour. Enjoy a seafood lunch at Dalton's Banana Guesthouse.
