Tour Details

• The custom trip is limited to 30 participants.

• The base price is $2,500 based on double occupancy.

• The price will vary based on your choice of accommodations (1 to 4 persons/room).

Passport & Visa:

• A valid passport is required. Citizens from the U.S. and the U.K. must obtain a Sierra Leone visa.  

Health & Safety:

• Yellow fever vaccination is required

• Malaria prophylaxis recommended

• On-call local medical support.​

• 8 nights of premium lodging

• One night's stay in the Bo Province

• All ground transportation within Sierra Leone

• All meals (except for dinner on Lumley Beach and lunch during the Independence Day celebration)

• Travel packages are available from: ATL, JFK, IAD, DTW, LHR.  

• Join us for a virtual orientation six weeks before departure to review logistics, health tips, cultural etiquette, and meet fellow travelers.

• Additional virtual meetings will be scheduled.

• Guided heritage tours and cultural activities

• A legacy gift supporting developmental projects for Tasso Island’s 5,500+ residents

• ​​Cancellations made 60+ days before departure are eligible for a refund minus the $300 deposit.  The deposit is tax-deductible and will be combined with funds to complete life-affirming projects on Tasso Island.
