Tour Details

Overview

  • This Sierra Leone "Tour with a Purpose" is limited to 30 tourists.

  • The tour is $2,500 USD based on double occupancy and includes a tax-deductible legacy gift of $300 USD for Tasso Island.

  • The price will vary for single rooms or suites for more than two people.

Other Considerations

Passport & Visa:

  • A valid passport is required. Citizens from the U.S. and the U.K. must obtain a Sierra Leone visa.  

Health & Safety:

  • Yellow fever vaccination is required.

  • Malaria prophylaxis is recommended.

 

Base Price Includes:

  • 9 nights of premium lodging

  • All ground transportation within Sierra Leone

  • All meals (except for lunch on Apr 29)

  • We will help coordinate travel from: ATL, JFK, IAD, DTW, and LHR.  

Pre-Trip Orientation:

  • Join us for a virtual orientation six weeks before departure to review logistics, health tips, cultural etiquette, and meet fellow travelers.

  • Additional virtual meetings will be scheduled.

Special 

  • Guided heritage tours and cultural activities

  • Presentation of a life-affirming legacy gift supporting developmental projects for Tasso Island’s 5,500+ residents

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 60+ days before departure are eligible for a refund minus the $300 deposit.

  • Partial deposit will be provided 59–30 days before departure. :

  • No refunds after 14 days 

Travel Insurance

  • Travel insurance is recommended.
